Historic funding allocated by the 88th Texas Legislature to the Port Access Account Fund and delivered through the Texas Department of Transportation’s Maritime Infrastructure Program provides grants for port development and infrastructure projects at Texas seaports. This first-of-its-kind investment is expected to strengthen seaports' resiliency and competitiveness, create continued economic growth, and provide a more robust supply chain.
